The system features two valves—one on each side of the muffler—crafted in Akrapovič’s in-house titanium foundry, allowing precise gas flow control for an engaging, unmistakable Akrapovič tone. For those seeking more control over the exhaust note, the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit offers adjustable sound settings, enhancing the system’s versatility. By reducing back pressure and improving exhaust flow, it enhances throttle response and acceleration for a more dynamic driving experience. Dyno testing confirms increases of +12.1 hp and +26.1 ft-lb of torque at 2,400 rpm, significantly boosting the SUV’s performance. Additionally, the titanium construction reduces the system’s weight by 8.4 kg (40.7% lighter than the stock exhaust), improving handling and agility. This combination of enhancements provides a perfect balance of performance and practicality, all without requiring ECU remapping.
