Developed for enthusiasts seeking a significant performance increase while retaining excellent drivability and response, the Precision Turbo Next Gen MK7 Golf Stage 1 is a true factory-location turbocharger upgrade for MQB platforms. Built on Precision Turbo’s proven Next Gen aero platform, the Stage 1 turbo delivers a substantial improvement over OEM IS12, IS20, and IS38 units while maintaining everyday usability and reliability.

The Stage 1 turbo features a high-efficiency 50mm Next Gen CEA® compressor wheel, paired with a 56mm CEA® turbine wheel, delivering increased airflow, faster spool, and strong mid-range torque. Designed to balance response and top-end performance, this configuration makes the Stage 1 ideal for fast-road and track-focused MQB builds where drivability is a priority.

As with all Precision Next Gen turbochargers, the Stage 1 utilises an all-new water-cooled dual ceramic ball bearing centre cartridge for reduced friction, rapid transient response, and long-term durability. The HK30 stainless steel turbine housing is engineered to withstand elevated exhaust gas temperatures, ensuring consistent performance under sustained load.
